During the holiday season, many airport travelers very quickly become overwhelmed. People dealing with flight delays is a common occurrence during Christmas. Everyone just wants to get home to their families but often times while traveling things get a little backed up.
On this particular day at one of the busiest German airports, hundreds of people seemed to be waiting around for their flights. That’s when a few travelers decided to lighten the mood. Two passengers began to sing the Christmas classic ‘Ding Dong Merrily On High’. As their voices grew louder and louder many other people joined in on the fun.
Then, another group of people joined in with the airport janitor to sing ‘Little Drummer Boy’. Lastly, the flight attendants couldn’t help but sing too so they belted out ‘Halleluja’. All of these singing travelers created one very large flash mob. The onlookers’ faces say it all.
Everyone’s eyes lit up and they started smiling once they heard each Christmas song. The impromptu flashmob really brought some much needed holiday spirit into the busy airport. It’s amazing how a few holiday songs can instantly lift our moods during the Christmas season.
Hearing the classics help us remember the true purpose of the season; to love one another like Christ did. Showing love to strangers is one of the greatest ways to show people the same love Jesus Christ showed when he was on earth. What a loving way to surprise some very stressed out holiday airport passengers during their travels.
