Twins At Heart
Most pet owners will agree that their animals become their "fur babies." And sometimes, when human babies come along, the fur babies start feeling a bit neglected. Maybe even a little jealous.
That was not the case when photographer, Jesse Holland, had her daughter Ella. Instead, she found that her 5-year-old French Bulldog/Boston Terrier mix, Charlie, and now 2-year-old Ella went together like peanut butter and jelly!
And that's when she decided to embark on a personal photo series that literally made my day when I discovered it!
The photo series is called "Handfuls Of Trouble." Jesse got the idea when one day her parents sent a present for Ella that was an owl hat. After trying it on Ella, Jesse was curious how it would look on her other baby, Charlie. Spoiler alert — it was ADORABLE!
(And is still adorable today!)
Next, Jesse found a pair of old glasses, trying them out on the duo. And again — super cute results!
And so, the side-by-side photos became a regular occurrence, for which fans of overwhelming cuteness, like myself, are incredibly grateful.
And while the series is being enjoyed by folks from all over, Jesse says the pictures are really intended for her family, since they live in different countries.
So how long can we expect to enjoy photos of these precious pals?
“I will keep up the project as long as they are relatively the same size, or when I run out of ideas” says Jesse.
Here's to hoping that's not any time soon!
