But Rolo, a 7-year-old dachshund, has a very different take on the whole situation. And it’s hard not to smile when you see how happy this little guy is!

Overjoyed Dog Sprained His Tail

Emma Smith is Rolo’s owner. And she turned to Twitter to share the unusual impact COVID-19 has had on the adorable wiener dog.

Rolo is happiest when he’s with his family. So, when his family started staying home all day, his joy over getting so much time with the humans he loves caused his tail to wag non-stop. In fact, it wagged so much, the dog actually sprained his tail!

"So my dog has been so happy that everyone is home for quarantine, that his tail has stopped working,” Emma wrote. She continued, “So we went to the vet and the vet said ‘he had sprained his tail from excessively wagging it'."

To Emma’s surprise, Rolo’s story went viral. Of course, everyone was sorry to hear of the pup’s sprain. But the sweet way he got it simply melted hearts all over.

Rolo Becomes A Star

Emma posted an update to help ease everyone’s concerns. She assured Rolo’s many fans that the vet had provided him with some pain relief and estimated his tail would be all better within a week.
