God has given us all some incredible talents and some amaze me even more than others. Ice skating is one of those talents. As someone who never leaves the wall when ice skating seeing truly talented ice skaters truly wow me. Jason Brown is one incredibly talented figure skater. Jason is a National Champion and Olympic medalist and one of his routines made him a viral sensation.

Jason added the incredible footwork of Irish dance to his ice dancing routine. According to an interview in the New York Times the idea for the routine came when Jason's coach and his choreographer found the song ‘Reel Around The Sun' and thought what an interesting idea it would be for Jason to perform a Riverdance style routine to the song.

When Brown heard the up-tempo song and the idea of Irish dancing on skates he thought his team had finally lost it. He figured there was no way he could pull it off. But they convinced him to give it a try and man, are we glad they did. And you do not want to miss this incredible routine! I may not know all the technical points of figure skating but I do know that this routine was tough and truly unique.

And apparently I must be on to something because you can hear the joy and amazement in the commentator's voices as they talk us through the incredible things Jason is doing. There is no wonder that Jason got a standing ovation at the end of this one! I could watch this again and again. God has definitely blessed him with this amazing talent.
