The Kentucky Music Educators Association's All State Choir was on a trip and they were staying at a Hyatt hotel. The hotel is truly beautiful and it has a beautiful open atrium in the middle. You can see all the floors from this beautiful open atrium and the students couldn't help but notice. I'm sure they noticed this when they saw their friends across the way. I can only image these high schoolers hollering and waving across at each other, so excited to see their friends. Though all of those excited ‘hello's they could not help nut notice how great the acoustics are.

So they got an idea, what if they treated the hotel guests with an impromptu concert? So they all came out to the balcony and started to sing. And what song did they pick? Well of course they chose the National Anthem! And wow what a performance. There is just something about hearing this song sung by a choir of so many different voices, with harmonies that will give you chills, that is truly incredible!

These teens are so truly talented. I just had to sit back and truly take in the beautiful sound. Hearing their voices echo through the atrium is so fascinating. I've never heard anyone sing in a setting like this, and it does something incredible to the sound. Who else could listen to them sing all day?
