When Andy Streich stepped up to the microphone on a Royal Caribbean cruise, I don’t think anyone was expecting what happened next. Andy signed up for a karaoke contest on the cruise ship, and it was finally his time to shine. He confidently took the mic and when he started to sing Journey’s classic, ‘Any Way You Want It’ everyone was in awe — this man on cruise ship sings Journey perfectly!
"Please tell me, why you feel you deserve the title of karaoke superstar?" the cruise ship emcee asked.
Andy answered, in his best Forest Gump voice, "It's not that I feel I deserve it, it's just that mama always told me that karaoke is like a box of chocolates."
Andy truly has a talented voice and he gave this performance his all. There was so much passion and fun in this song that I know everyone on the ship must’ve been grooving along. He even picks up the microphone stand and starts to play the air guitar. Andy was definitely getting into his routine.
What an amazing treat for everyone on this ship and it’s no surprise that Andy ended up winning the whole karaoke contest. Who else wishes they could’ve seen this in person?
