After doing some routine housework around her house, a mother discovered a surprising secret that was hidden under her cabinets all along. And the surprise led her to getting a new piece of furniture without having to spend a dime!

Kayleigh Greer, a 35-year old mother of three, bought a brand-new cabinet in 2016 to use as a TV stand in her and her husband's bedroom. She wanted the cabinet to be grey to match their sliver and grey décor, but the store told her that they didn't have any more grey cabinets in stock. She ended up buying the cabinet in the blue color, even though it wasn't her first choice.

Recently, Kayleigh was deep cleaning her bedroom and noticed that there was a small line of white tape along the top of each drawer of the cabinet. She thought it was just a small protective covering and decided to pull it off. But she never expected what would happen next!

"As I started to peel, I noticed the blue film had lifted and I panicked and thought I had ruined unit," says Kayleigh. "But I just kept peeling and it kept coming off. Underneath it was a really nice grey. It looks amazing."

The funny thing is that the cabinet was displayed in the store with that same blue color. The employees may have also been fooled by the blue film, thinking that that was the actual color of the cabinet.

After peeling off all the film, Kayleigh and her husband are so excited about how the cabinet looks now.
