The talented GENTRI trio never fails to amaze with their incredible harmonies. Today, they’re covering some of the most famous Broadway love songs and it’s absolutely amazing.
GENTRI has wowed us time and time again with their a cappella performances. From hymns to pop music covers these guys truly put their own spin on any music they get a hold of. And though they have accompaniment this time around, this mashup is just as amazing! Just listen as these men sing a mashup of timeless love songs.
The Gentleman Trio starts with the song Robert Goulet made famous ‘If Ever I Would Leave You’ from the musical Camelot. From there the music beautifully shifts into, one of my personal favorites, ‘Some Enchanted Evening’ from the classic South Pacific. As the music picks up they break into the more upbeat love song ‘Tonight, Tonight’ from West Side Story.
As their incredible voices rise above the music, I couldn’t help but close my eyes and think back to the first time I ever heard these incredible love songs. And how they bring them all together at the end with their chill-inducing harmonies will truly move you. These men are truly incredibly talented. It must have taken so much time and thought to figure out how to seamlessly bring these three classic love songs together. And, man am I glad they took the time to do it, because this is amazing!
These truly are some of the bests of Broadway I never get tired of listening to and hearing them like this is even better. I can feel myself being transported back in time and singing along. Have you ever had a love that gave you jitters quite like this did? What love song makes you think of the love of your life?
