So, when the country icon took to social media to announce the rescheduling of several stops on her tour, it was not without good cause.
“My doctor has advised me to go on vocal rest, so I have made the difficult decision to reschedule this weekend's shows,” the star wrote on social media.
While Reba did not provide details on why her doctor deemed the vocal rest necessary, we applaud her for prioritizing her health and heeding the advice. It’s not always easy to do under the pressure of everyone else’s expectations.

Announcements like these can sometimes be met with backlash from disappointed ticketholders. But that certainly wasn’t the reaction to Reba McEntire’s health problems!

As soon as Reba McEntire made the announcement about her health problems, fans began flooding her with messages of support.
“Prayers for fast healing!” commented one fan on Facebook.
“Praying for you. Taking care of yourself is the most important thing.. God bless,” wrote another on Instagram.

Sometimes the expectations placed on celebrities are unrealistic and lack basic humanity. So, it’s wonderful to see Reba McEntire’s health problems met with such love and respect. And we were certainly be joining in praying for a swift recovery!
