This couple makes handmade wooden crosses to share the message of joy. They want to encourage people to give their burdens to God instead of holding them on their shoulders.
Rick and Jackie have huge hearts for spreading the word of God. They love helping people as they grow in their faith. They want to encourage people to cast their burdens on the Lord, and they are using handmade crosses to help do that.

It all started two years ago. They felt led by God to create what they call "Surrender Crosses". The surrender cross is a tangible handmade cross that you can physically nail your burdens to that are written on a piece of paper.

The Surrender Cross has been symbolic of placing burdens before the Lord and leaving them on the cross. The purpose of the cross is for people to surrender burdens and give Christ control over their circumstances.

It was confirmation to the couple that this is what they were supposed to do at the very moment Rick was laid off from his job. They have been praying for a while for God to close the doors that need to be shut. So when Rick lost his job they knew that RAD JOY was exactly what God called them to do. They were filled with so much joy about the fact that they could fulfill the work of God.

He now has the time to fully dedicate his time to RAD JOY. Their children are even involved in the business. The children write a virtue on a piece of paper and whenever their dad is finished with a cross. Then the family prays together over the virtue before giving a cross to someone. Their prayer is that these wooden crosses will help people let go of all of their problems and feel the moment it is taken away. What an incredible way they followed God’s calling!
