A married couple just received an incredible miracle. After 20 years of barrenness, God is finally blessing them with not just one baby, but four!
We don’t always understand God’s timing, but as believers, we trust in it. And sometimes God makes us wait.
When a Nigerian couple, Mr. and Mrs. Ibikunle Ajala, got married in 1997, they looked forward to starting a family. But year after year, no baby came. While the couple trusted in God, it was difficult to accept His will didn’t seem to include the blessing of children.

But as husband and wife, the two navigated the difficult journey together and remained close.
After 20 years of barrenness, you have to imagine this couple assumed children just weren’t a part of God’s plan for them. But He had a special surprise in store!
20 Years Of Barrenness Comes To An End
Mrs. Ajala’s first name is Sarah. And how fitting, because in the Bible, God blessed Sarah and Abraham with Isaac following many, many years of barrenness.
“But Sarai was barren; she had no child. (Genesis 11:30) And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken. For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him. (Genesis 21:1-2)”
And despite so many years, Mrs. Sarah Ajala recently gave birth to quadruplets!
Some people would be intimidated by having four babies all at once. But not this couple. They are overjoyed to receive such a blessing after two long decades of waiting.
"It is good to wait for God's time,” Ibikunle says. “I must confess it has not been a rosy journey but we thank God for the grace to wait. Waiting is not the biggest issue; it is what one does at the time of waiting."
Excited friends and family swarmed the hospital to celebrate with the couple. And Sarah was waiting for them, grinning from ear to ear.
Waiting is so difficult because it breeds doubt. But I pray this story will serve as a reminder that our God will never fail us!
