Andrew led a very comfortable life. Until hitting rock bottom helped this materialistic man find Christ.
Andrew came from a very successful family. His dad grew a college textbook company into a multi-million-dollar business. He also ran for and was elected governor of Kentucky. Their lives were so abundant, and then one-day Andrew got a call from his dad that changed everything.

Shortly after his dad's term, his company fell into disarray. He was forced into bankruptcy which had a direct impact on his business and on his family. All of his debts combined totaled to about four hundred eighty million dollars.

This was definitely a traumatizing thing for Andrew and family. They have lived a very privileged life. Andrew would even call his brother and himself "spoiled". They were so obsessed with material possessions.

Because Andrew found his identity in physical wealth, he did not know how to deal with his family's circumstances. And even though he was raised in the church, he did not have a personal relationship with God. So he turned to alcohol and drugs at a very young age. He was trying to escape the reality of his life. He was in a fast downward spiral.

Andrew eventually reached an all-time low and felt completely hopeless when he found himself in jail. He knew he made a huge mess out of his life. His mom was extremely disappointed in him. And as he was being transported from one prison to the other, he prayed to the Lord and experienced true forgiveness from Jesus for the first time.

He ended up getting sentenced to a year in prison. But that was a blessing because, during that time, he opened up his heart to Jesus. He consistently read his bible and prayed to the Lord.

Now he is completely free from drugs and has a family of his own. Andrew loves sharing the message of hope to people who are in prison. He knows that his mission in life is to share with others that there is hope and that a life in Christ is the most abundant life we could ever have.
