Weddings are such a beautiful time as families come together to celebrate two people making a promise to love each other for the rest of their lives. Marriage is not for the faint of heart but couple's who make sure to keep God at the center of it all have built their house on the rock. Well this is one of those couples.
When this Marine and his bride were planning their wedding they knew they wanted to do something special to start their marriage on the right foot. So this Godly couple decided that while they stood at the altar they would take time to worship God together. I've seen special moments like this at weddings, whether it is the washing of feet in Biblical tradition or taking time to take communion for the first time as husband and wife there are many ways to keep God at the center of a wedding ceremony. But this couple didn't want the moment to be just them.
They wanted to share in the joy and power of the Lord with everyone who joined them at their wedding. So during their ceremony they took a step back from wedding traditions and had a moment of pure worship. The band in the corner started playing ‘Agnus Dei' by Michael W. Smith and instantly the whole wedding turned into a powerful moment of praise and worship.
Thankfully someone thought to record a snippet of this incredible time of worship, and you do not want to miss it. Seeing the bride and groom and their friends and family with their hands lifted high to glorify the Lord is moving. What away to start off a marriage! Who else was moved to tears?
Watch this couple worship the Lord!
