For most of us, going to work is just part of the day-to-day grind. No matter how beautiful your drive may be or how God shows up everyday in our offices we become used to the little miracles of everyday.
We don’t take time to stop and notice the beauty and wonder of God’s creation all around us. But for a select few their job is going into space, and it is impossible for them to miss the wonder of God’s creation.
So when Russian astronaut Sergei Ryazanski, Italian astronaut Paolo Nespoli and American astronaut Randy Bresnik saw the amazing images of space they captured while on the International Space Station they knew they needed to share that wonder with those of us here on earth. But they decided not to just send the raw footage.
Instead they took the powerful images and put them to music with the song ‘the Sound of Silence’ as performed by the band Disturbed. The video opens with a sunrise and goes on to show incredible images of earth like have never been seen. The haunting beauty of the song of and these powerful images will truly leave you in awe.
It truly is impossible to miss the magnitude of God’s power when you look at all He has created. And how grateful we should be that there are people willing to risk their lives to explore more and more of God’s creation and share with us such incredible discoveries. God bless them for sharing such miracles with us. Who else can’t wait to see what other powerful images may come?
