This Man Is These Kids’ Hero–And You’ll Love WHY!

You Never Know The Impact YOU May Be Making In Someone's Life!

In this big world that we live in, it's easy to lose sight of how our actions – big or small – affect others. But the truth is, you never really know the impact you may be making in someone else's life.

Steve Weidner, or ‘Mr. Steve' as he is affectionately called, has been reporting to Alan Shepard Elementary School in Bourbonnais, Illinois for 15 years to fulfill his janitorial duties. He loves his job and takes pride in what he does. But more importantly, he loves the kids that he serves. And because of this, the kids love him right back!

‘He has good relationships with the students. [They] count on Mr. Steve to be there when they need him.' said the school's principal.

Thanks to his kind heart and hard work, Mr. Steve has become a bit of a local celebrity amongst the students. He's so popular, in fact, that every year kids line up to get his autograph. This year, 104 second-graders lined up so that Mr. Steve could sign their yearbooks. And he signed 200 more yearbooks that week!

This year, someone thought to snap a photo of Mr. Steve's annual autograph day. And it's easy to see why it's gone so viral! Mr. Steve is now getting national recognition for his good deeds. But this humble man is not letting all the attention go to his head. He gives all of the praise back to the children he loves.

God bless this man for his amazing dedication! What an incredible reminder that we can glorify the Lord in all that we do. The way we live our life can have a profound impact on the people around us.

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Matthew 5:16
