Anyone who was an only child for a few years of their lives remembers wanting a little brother or sister so very badly. 7-year-old Mehmet understands that feeling and has been asking for a baby brother or sister for as long as he can remember.
So when his mom Feride found out she was pregnant she knew her sweet boy would be thrilled! So she got the ultrasound picture and got the camera ready and waited for the perfect moment to tell her son.

When Mehmet walked into the kitchen and saw his momma kneeling on the floor he was so confused he thought she was proposing. After a good laugh she tells him she needs to show him a photo. As soon as he sees the picture he knows it is a baby and hops it will be his sibling.

When Feride confirms that it is in fact her baby this sweet big brother can’t contain his joy. He bursts into tears and gives his momma a big hug! But this little guy’s big heart just can’t contain his happiness and he gives his momma’s belly a big kiss, showing his baby brother or sister just how much he loves them.

He can’t believe he is so blessed to finally have his prayer answered and keeps asking his momma all about the baby in her belly. But the sweetest is when this little guy asks if he can tell everyone. He simply cannot wait to shout it from the rooftops that he is going to be a big brother. I’ve gotta say this baby is going to be very very loved! Who else was moved by this big brother’s joy?
