Christmas Commercial Has The Whole Internet Talking

Each Christmas, everyone looks forward to the John Lewis advertisements that always seems to pull on our heartstrings. I can remember laughing, crying and all the feels from the past years.

You can watch the touching man on the moon ad here. This year’s commercial is just as adorable and whimsical.

In this powerful commercial, little Joe hears some rustling under his bed and looks down to see every child’s worst nightmare, a monster under the bed. But Joe discovered that his particular monster is a friendly monster named Moz. And before he knows it the adventures began.

This little guy and his big, sock covered new friend can’t wait for night to fall so that they can play and have all kinds of fun. But this noisy monster and his fun start to keep Joe awake all night. And poor little Joe can barley function because he is so tired during the day. When Christmas morning arrives Joe notices one sloppily wrapped present under the tree and no one seems to know who it is from. But when Joe sees inside he knows it is from Moz.

When Joe opens it he fins the perfect Christmas gift that allows him to get rest but also keep his new friend, Moz. I just love the innocence of a child and the message of friendship and love this ad shares with the world. These ads always seem to leave my heart overflowing and this one is no different.

I always find myself waiting to see this commercial and this feel-good video is definitely worth the wait. It is so neat how they gave a whole new meaning to the monster under the bed. I can’t wait to see what this store comes up with next year!
