Young Girl Was Passed By And Hungry Until Young Boy Took A Stand

Near an area where one of the worst imaginable tragedies claimed more than 400 lives, a single act of kindness from a child is taking the internet by storm. This one 40-second video is restoring people’s faith in humanity, and when you watch it, you’ll see why. A little boy helps girl get food after she’s been passed by, and it’s one of the sweetest things you’ll see online ever.

In the wake of devastation after a 7.3 magnitude earthquake destroyed homes and claimed lives, food and help are very scarce. So when one little boy, who appears to be no older than six or seven years old, saw injustice happening, he refused to accept it.

This young boy grabbed his friend by the hand and marched her over to the relief efforts where people were handing out food.

You didn’t give her food.

“You didn’t give her food,” the young boy says. He spoke authoritatively, but his tone was still respectful of authority. You could tell this little warrior prince wasn’t going to stand for his little friend, a young girl, not receiving any food.

How wonderful is it that in this very dark and desperate time, this little guy still remembers what’s morally the right thing to do. He didn’t just tend to himself, he made sure she was cared for first.

It’s easy to get caught up in our own daily trials and struggles. But this sweet video is a shining example of how we should also remember there is always someone who has it worse off than we do.

As Christians, looking out for others and putting others first is what we’re called to do!
