This Lamb Offers A GUARANTEE. And Can Be Trusted With Your Life!

Guaranteed…by the Lamb God!

What does the word ‘GUARANTEED’ really mean? Commercials are always promising us that this product will make our stomach flatter or our hair thicker or our children happier. Really? BUT there is someone who offers promises – guaranteed – that can be trusted. And, that’s Jesus.

The Old Testament (which is directly tied to the New Testament) teaches us, “I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians. I will free you from being slaves to them, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and mighty acts of judgement. I will take you as my own people, and I will be your God. Then you will know that I am the Lord your God, who brought you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians.” Exodus 6: 6-7

God promises us to ‘bring us out’ from under oppression. He promises to “redeem us” through His powerful grace. He will “take us as His own people” and “will be our God.”

And the New Testament teaches us, “And He said to them, I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer. For I tell you, I will not eat it again until it finds fulfillment in the Kingdom of God. And He took the bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them saying, ‘This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me. In the same way, after the supper He took the cup saying, “this cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.” Luke 11: 15-20

Jesus is the Lamb of God – our Passover Lamb – Spotless – Without Blemish

As we enter this Easter celebration, we have 3 opportunities:

1) An opportunity to PRAY:

I encourage you to take some time and reflect on your relationship with God and His son, Jesus. THIS is our time to celebrate God’s promise and to commit to a closer relationship with Him as our Lord and Savior.

“The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. ” 2 Corinthians 4:4

2) An opportunity to INVITE:

Satan is the father of lies and blinds our family members, friends, neighbors and co-workers from SEEING God for His glory and goodness. THIS is the season to invite and share the love of God with others.

“Anyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved. But how shall they ask Him to save them unless they believe in Him? And how can they believe in Him if they have never heard about Him? And how can they hear about Him unless someone tells them? Romans 10: 13-14

3) An opportunity to PARTICIPATE:

Get involved! We serve and love the perfect, spotless Lamb. Be vocal. Be bold. The church offers a community from which we draw encouragement and strength. The church is filled with not-so-perfect people…and that’s OK. But we share the love of the Lord and that’s all we need.

“In a loud voice they were saying: Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!” Revelation 5:12
