A talented, young contestant on The Voice Germany stuns the judges with his beautiful performance of ‘The Sound Of Silence.'
Simon & Garfunkel originally released this iconic song in 1964. Since that time, many artists have lent their voices to the tune including one of the most well-known covers from the rock band, Disturbed, in 2015.
Then, a cappella group Pentatonix released their own version and it skyrocketed in popularity. Today, we're hearing an entirely new rendition from Voice contestant David Maresch and it is absolutely amazing. Just listen as he belts out these famous lyrics.
"Hello darkness, my old friend
I’ve come to talk with you again
Because a vision softly creeping
Left its seeds while I was sleeping
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Within the sound of silence"
