To help pass the time during a traveling delay, a talented flight attendant entertained passengers when he began belting out the lyrics to “Take Me Home, Country Roads.” What a special moment!

Traveling is not always the most fun or exciting thing to do in the world. In fact, it's usually the opposite. While traveling by plane is the fastest method of getting from Point A to Point B, it can be frustrating, especially when it comes to security checks, traveling guidelines and flight delays.

However, one Southwest Airlines flight attendant did his best to try and alleviate passengers' worries and stress during a potentially upsetting situation.

Flight Attendant Entertains During Delay

In a video posted on YouTube, the man sings lyrics to the John Denver classic, "Take Me Home, Country Roads." The man strums along on a guitar while singing the memorable lyrics, which are about traveling a familiar, well-worn path that leads to a beloved destination.

"Country roads, take me home

To the place I belong

West Virginia, mountain mama

Take me home, country roads"

The musically talented flight attendant plays and sings the John Denver tune while someone else holds the phone to the plane's intercom system.

At around the 2-minute mark of the clip, the man changes things up a little bit. He stops singing momentarily and encourages the passengers to sing along with him.

"Come on, everybody," he says to the passengers on the delayed flight.

Likely to the surprise of him and anyone who watches the video, several passengers join him in singing the lyrics to the chorus of “Take Me Home, Country Roads.”

Flying can be an unpleasant experience, but one man, with the use of his guitar and voice, tried to make a bad situation a little better. He deserves a ton of credit for trying to bring joy to people who probably weren't in the best of moods.
