A 9-year-old girl named Zoe recently received the surprise of a lifetime. Zoe has always wanted a sister, but her parents had a lot of trouble trying to get pregnant with their second child.
They started trying when Zoe was around 3 or 4. Over the course of 6 years, they went through multiple fertility procedures but nothing worked. After a lot of thought, they decided not to continue with fertility treatment. Since they were already blessed with Zoe they wanted to fully cherish the time they had with her.

A few more years passed. At this point, Zoe was now 9 years old. That’s when they found out the most amazing news! They were finally pregnant again. Everyone knew that Zoe was going to be over the moon excited so they came up with an amazing way to surprise her with the big news. In the video, you can see Zoe receiving a special surprise present. She opened the little box and saw her favorite cupcake.

But, what she also saw was a little onesie made of sugar with the words ‘BIG SIS’ written on it. Zoe couldn’t believe her eyes. Her first response was, “Are you gonna have a baby?”! When her mom said yes she still couldn’t believe it quipping back, “No you’re not!”. Then out of nowhere all of Zoe’s emotions hit her hard. She starts bawling tears of joy for her parents.

She knew how long her parents had patiently waited for this and how much they struggled. Zoe had always wanted to have a little sister and now she has one. They named the new baby Cali Grace. And Zoe is still so incredibly thrilled to have a little sister. What an amazing story of God’s faithfulness. Things always seem to happen in His timing; not ours. What a beautiful miracle!
