The popular song from the 1980s is of a grandchild asking their grandfather about the good old days. The child asks Grandpa question after question, seeking answers for why things are the way they are in the world today. The child simply wants to go back to the good old days.

"Did families really bow their heads to pray?

Did daddies really never go away?

Whoa, whoa, grandpa, tell me ‘bout the good old days"

Touching Peformance Of “Grandpa”

In the clip, Wynonna stands on stage at The Judds final concert, singing to the adoring crowd all alone. Throughout the heartbreaking performance, Wynonna exudes strength and resiliency to be able to get through that song without breaking down in tears. Last year, Noami — Wynonna's mother and bandmate — took her own life.
