Luke Smallbone, a singer in For King And Country, performs an emotional rendition of ‘Need You More' to his son on stage.

Luke's son, Leo, was just 2 months old when he was found nearly lifeless while napping. Courtney Smallbone, Luke's wife, raced outside with the infant in her arms and screamed for him to call 911.

As the ambulance arrived and treated their son, he began to breathe again. They loaded the baby into the ambulance and drove him to the hospital. That's when Luke followed in his car and the Lord put the words of ‘Need You More' onto his heart.

"I need You more

Yeah, I need you more

More than ever before

Yeah, I need you more"

In a video posted to Facebook, Luke said, “Tonight I got the the very special gift of singing Need You More with my youngest son Leo. I wrote the song on the way to the hospital when he was only 8 weeks old & we didn't know if he would live or what was going on. This was a prayer turned into a melody in an uncertain time. I wanted to just once, sing the song while holding him. It was a moment I'll never forget!"

"Our souls are nearer tonight

And just a little sweeter, a little deeper

Our souls are nearer tonight

I need You more

Yeah, I need you more"
