A teacher adopted her student and his life would never be the same! Anthony was in foster care and longed for a family to be a part of. He gave up on the hopes of ever being adopted until one day his teacher, Benni Berry did something that changed his life forever. Stories like this are so rare, but they always warm the heart! It shows that all things are possible, all it takes is someone who really cares!
Anthony said that he knows that not many kids his age gets adopted so he thought that there was no way he will find a family. But that did not change the fact that he wanted one so badly. So, Bennie made a fun deal with him. Anthony asked her if she could adopt him.

She told him that she would if he finished his school assignment. He could not believe his ears! Obviously, that assignment was completed, and Bennie did her research on how she could begin the adoption process. Shortly after, Anthony was finally adopted by his new mom!

The both of them are excited to be each other's family! Anthony never had a mom before and Bennie never had a son. In fact, Benni is a mom for the first time.

The two are enjoying transitioning from student and teacher relationship to a mother and son relationship. It is so amazing! Bennie shares how Anthony was always a diligent and hardworking student, so it was very easy for her to consider making him a part of her family.
