After millions have been lifting him up, Christian celebrity Alex Trebek says prayers are to thank for the miraculous remission of his pancreatic cancer. Doctors are amazed by the beloved Jeopardy host’s incredible recovery. But we know God gets all the glory!
Alex Trebek Cancer Update
In June 2019, doctors were astounded by the results of Alex Trebek’s cancer treatments. While the popular TV host wasn’t out of the woods yet, his progress defied expectations.
"It's kind of mind-boggling," says Alex, who is 79 years old. "The doctors said they hadn't seen this kind of positive result in their memory...some of the tumors have already shrunk by more than 50 percent."
As the host headed into several more rounds of chemo, he credited the progress he was seeing as nothing short of a miracle. And Alex Trebek says prayers are what’s making the treatments so successful.
“I told the doctors, this has to be more than just chemo,” he said. “I’ve had a couple million people out there who expressed their good thoughts, their positive energy, and their prayers. The doctors said it could very well be an important part of this.”
Not Everyone Wants To Credit Prayer
