94-Year-Old Makes Cross-Country Trip To Say Goodbye In Last Visit To Her Little Sister

An elderly woman in her mid-90s made a long, cross-country trip – from New Hampshire to Nevada – to see her younger sister, likely for the last time on this earth.

As children, siblings are known for their ability to make a fight or disagreement out of anything and everything. This is a statement that most parents would likely agree with wholeheartedly. But as those brothers and sisters get older and develop their own lives, those once contentious relationships change into something else entirely.

A video posted on social media documents what is likely the final meeting between two sisters – 94-year-old Barbara and 90-year-old Shirley, according to Sunny Skyz. The video was a heartwarming farewell between two sisters who obviously love one another very much.

In the TikTok video, which has been watched more than 13 million times, the two women are in the living room, sitting in chairs while having a heartfelt conversation.

"Don't say that. We're going to see each other again," Shirley tells her older sister.

"But we did," Barbara responds through tears. "We had a wonderful, wonderful life."

But if they don't have that next meeting on this earth that Shirley mentioned, the two sisters know precisely where they will see one another next.

"If we don't see each other on this earth, we'll see you in heaven," Shirley says.

"You betcha, you betcha," Barbara responds.

Shirley then tells Barbara to not say goodbye. The older sister, Barbara, states that she is "not going to" and that "there is no way that I'm going to say goodbye" to her.

In a follow-up video, Barbara says that before the meeting, she had made up her mind that she was "not going to cry." She also mentioned that she had a "wonderful visit."

The video concludes with Barbara stating how much she truly cares for her younger sibling.

"My baby sister, I love her so much," Barbara said.

What a wonderful and moving look at the love and the bond between two sisters!
