God was truly at work when it comes to the timing of this story of how three men asked an elderly woman who was sitting alone to join them for dinner. He truly knows just what we need at exactly the right time.

It was a regular night for Jamario Howard and his friends Jamychol and Tae. They were about to enjoy some good barbecue at a local restaurant in Oxford, Alabama when Jamario took notice of an elderly woman sitting at a table by herself.

"My first thought was ‘dang I'd hate to have to eat alone,’" he recalled.

Since Jamario knew he’d want company if he was eating alone, he went over to her table and asked if he could join her. Her name was Eleanor and she was happy to have someone to sit with.

After talking for a bit, Jamario learned that Eleanor had recently lost her husband and they would have celebrated 60 years of marriage that next day.
