Funny Guest Stars On The Carol Burnett Show
A clip posted on YouTube features some of those hysterical celebrity guest appearances. The clip begins with Steve Martin trying to expand his audience, trying to appeal specifically to dogs. He says that he has come up with comedy that man's best friend will appreciate.

"Now, a lot of dogs watch TV, but there's nothing really on that they can enjoy, maybe a couple of commercials, and that's about it," Steve said. "So, I‘ve worked up a comedy act for dogs."
Steve's bit even has several dogs sitting in front of him so he can test how well his act is going. But things go about as well as can be expected.
Later in the video of guest stars on The Carol Burnett Show, Betty White and Carol appear in a Mama's Family skit. Betty and Carol get into an argument that is overheard by Mama. That doesn't work out well for anyone.

Finally, Dick Van Dyke and Carol Burnett sing a song together. Dick, following the lyrics of the song, then dumps paint on Carol. Eventually, the two legendary comedians break out into laughter.
